About Me
Welcome! I am Grace Self, a licensed marriage and family therapist with several years of experience helping individuals and couples navigate the stress in their lives. As a young mother myself, I have experienced the ups and downs of postpartum life and the challenges of relocating multiple times. These experiences have drawn me to help others through life transitions with empathy and understanding.
I’m a straight shooter who isn’t afraid to challenge you, but I also strive to make therapy a little less daunting. I believe that using humor when it fits can make our time together much more enjoyable. We’ll joke, laugh, and tackle challenges in a relaxed, goal-centered way. My ultimate aim is to “work myself out of a job” by helping you achieve your goals and gain the tools you need to thrive independently.
Whether you are hoping to change the negative patterns and coping skills you’ve developed or looking for a comfortable space to have tough conversations with your partner that might be hard to start at home, let’s work together to take the first steps to a healthier, happier you!
