Find Calm in the Chaos
Anxiety and stress can serve as our internal compass, alerting us that something might not be right. However, without the right coping skills, they can become debilitating. We will work together to ensure it doesn’t control your life through individual therapy using cognitive-behavioral techniques, mindfulness, emotion work, and internal family systems.
Sound like you?
You can never “catch up,” feeling like you are running on empty
You overanalyze situations and worry about what others think of you
Making decisions and feel confident in those decisions impossible
You have physical symptoms of uneasiness — fast heart rate, jaw clenching, tense shoulders etc.
Anxiety doesn’t have to stop you from living your life
My approach to working with individuals to overcome stress and anxiety
Clients who come to therapy with high stress and anxiety can be individuals or couples. My approach to therapy is grounded in the belief that life is inherently challenging and stress, while sometimes inevitable, can be managed effectively. I believe that mental health is about learning to navigate these difficulties, leading to a reduction in symptoms rather than their complete absence.
In our sessions, we will first focus on understanding your unique experiences, then work together to develop coping skills, self-care strategies, and mindfulness techniques that seamlessly integrate into your life. I provide a calming, non-judgmental space for you to process your feelings and challenge negative patterns that exacerbate stress and anxiety.
Together, we’ll work on
